TOPIC 4
How do you feel about the idea of blogging? Have you blogged before? Is blogging more preferable to writing a test?
I don’t really want to do this, I’d rather answer all my questions on paper (if at all). But I would rather be in my bed sleeping rn (like ally s on the desk)
I definitely prefer blogging to writing tests. Tests are always made out to be big, stressful roadblocks while blogging feels more like a smaller, less stressful assignment to do over time
I feel that blogging is a helpful way to learn how to use different types of ways that answers/ assignments can be done. I have used blogging in my online class before which help me to understand the assignment better by reading other responses. I feel that it is better then a test because it leaves room for improvement unlike a test where you only have one try.
I think the idea of blogging is a good way to see how people respond to the book that everyone is reading. I have never blogged before. Yes blogging is more preferable to writing a test. Maddy
The idea of blogging reminds me of the early 2000s, or when the internet first became mainstream and widely used. I think it is a good way to express an opinion on specific topics and interests, such as books or media, for others with similar views or circumstances. Personally I have never blogged before.
I enjoy the idea of blogging, since it's similar to most social media platforms that I've used. In terms of specific sights that refer to themselves as blogs, I've used Tumblr before quite easily. Depending on the structure of the test, blogging is preferable. It allows you to reread over your answers, spell check, and is a more convenient way to incorporate media into assignments and tests rather than a blurry photocopy. It is also similar to the format of online school, and can be easily completed at home if someone is to miss class. It can also remove the potential stress studying for a test induces.
I have never had any intentions of writing a blog. I think they should be left in the early 2000s. I also think the idea of blogging could be appealing to those who like to write, but to me, it is just a bunch of people talking about things that aren'tnecessarily truthful in the information it contains. Writing a test would be a far more preferable option as I am used to them. Logan
I feel blogging is better than writing a test. It’s similar to social media platforms that I use and have used in the past such as tumblr and twitter. It also allows us to share ideas and opinions with one another. A test is taken under pressure as you only get one attempt whereas you can continue learning through blogging. Stephanie
I think blogging is cool because it lets people share ideas and opinions with the world, and even though I’ve never tried it I’d pick it over a test any day.
For me personally, I think blogging is a lot better than a test since blogging gives more freedom to the post. A test requires a certain answer while blogging allows you to have your own individual answer.
I have never done a blog before, but it sounds interesting and new. Also possibly easier than a test would be.

The structure and idea of blogging is very reminiscent of Covid times. Most of, if not all of my assignments were blog or discussion posts.

I’ve never blogged before, but I’d rather prefer tests so I don’t have to worry about a blog every other day
